Each letter is approximately 8" tall and 1/8" thick. Made of solid birch wood, the letters are sturdy yet light-weight and easy to hang on the wall. There will be no need to damage your walls with nails as these letters will easily hang with the Handi-Tak mounting aid, which is available for purchase on our Wall Letters page for $3.00.
Please choose the font of your choice, Clarendon or Whimsical, and the color of your choice for both paint and ribbon in the box to the right. (Clarendon letters are quite wide and whimsical letters are thinner and more dainty.) Each letter will be painted with a white base coat by default. The color you are choosing will be the color of the gingham or stripe design. The stripes and gingham design will be thicker on Clarendon letters and thinner on Whimsical letters due to the space allowed. If you would like another paint or ribbon color or shade of a color that we do not have listed, please email us with your request at support@wallnames.com. We can most likely obtain any color that you are looking for. If you would like the basecoat in a color other than white with a contrasting color of stripes or gingham on top, just make your request in the comments box or in an email and we will do our best to fulfill your request.
Also in the box to the right, please type in the exact name, word or phrase you wish to purchase in upper or lowercase letters just as you wish it to appear. For example if you want to purchase 6 wall letters to spell the name Ashley and you want the letters all to be lowercase, you will type in "ashley". Also please note whether you want the letters painted with a ginham or stripe design.
*Please understand that all capital letters will be 8" tall, but due to the design of the font and each particular letter, some of the lowercase letters may be shorter.
*Also, please remember that because these letters are hand-painted no two will be exactly the same and every letter will have its own unique charachteristics, making this a more personal and special gift.
The $16.00 price is for ONE wall letter painted with a solid color base coat topped by a ginham or stripe design in the color of your choice. When you get to the Shopping Cart page, you will need to enter the total number of letters you wish to purchase into the Quantity box, and then click Update. Your total price will then be recalculated based on the number of letters you are requesting. This step is very important to ensure a properly priced order!
